What is the “Flight of passage program”?
Flight of passage:
A 4 week course which involves activities and teachings designed to help our youth discovery ones full potential and help them become more hands on with life. We want to plant seeds, Seeds that unfold into something Beautiful.
The Plan:
We will take 5 young adults (18yrs) from the inner city of New York. Each week there will be teachings of life lessons. We will also tour the city and visit places like the “Slavery and underground railroad walking monument tour”. The Last week of the course we would fly them to a place where they would be exposed to a whole new culture, and learn the importance of budgeting and travel.
When: Summer of 2026
This Course would teach you how to sustain a healthy way of living
Become independent and resourceful
Strive for ones highest personal potential
Develop Leadership skills ands a sense of community responsibility
Build self-esteem, confidence and, self respect
Explore beyond their comfort zone and challenge themselves
Discover ones individual, creative voice.
Decision making
Character Development
We Live Life on levels and we arrive and experience life on stages and each stage, not only takes us to a level of new Knowledge, authority, relationships and wisdom. But in order to understand these stages we need to know our character, but also increase our capacity during the process.
The 3 Stages:
1) Separation Stage- Leave behind their old life and comfort zone. Strip you from your old habits. ///Go on trips, Camping etc.
2) Transition Stage- (Your New Suit) They would learn new behaviors and ways of thinking and strives to pass certain challenges
3) Reincorporation Stage- finally they will remerge into a community that recognizes their accomplishments and new way of thinking
Note : HELP Haiti- 20% of our proceeds will be donated to help Haiti. We have partnered with UNICEF USA.
Haiti was struck by a 7.2-magnitude earthquake this past weekend that destroyed homes and buildings and killed more that 3,500 people and left more than 6,000 people injured. This earthquake was even more powerful than the 2010 earthquake that devastated the country. It also comes just a month after the political upheaval following the assassination of their president Jovenel Moise .
